That is a tough one, but I would go with the NES or SNES. I find to have a much better experience playing those games. For the newer I would go with the PS2.
Ah, can't forget the old school consoles. :P Those two were pretty cool too. My favorite game from either of those systems is still donkey kong. :P That game never gets old.
I used to LOVE N64! I had that gun attachment and used to play Duckhunt. Simple graphics, not many games, but REALLY fun!
I'm also going to have to go with Johan on the PC thing as well. Some games just work so much better when you have a mouse and a keyboard. With a handheld controler too many functions can get really complicated really fast.
I couldent agree more about xbox, but while nintendo had the games the sega just had a better systems and technology, look at the saturn for example, they had disks before any other company even thought about it.
Yeah isn't the Ps3 some stupid price like 700$ or something like that? I know the Xbox360 did pretty bad when most of them melted or blew up.
However the WII looks nice and it has the option of playing the Old games from the NES era, Maybe now I can acctually beat StarTropics and Kid Icris (or how ever that's spelt)

Icarus was the greek figure from legends that flew too close the sun and melted his wings. You know, from the story of the minotaur and the labyrinth...
