Hi there. Unfortunately, I couldn't work with my remake, the reason being lack of time and big changes in my computer (I still have BCB6, but am learning C#). Maybe later, but I'm sure I won't abandon the project. As I was just looking for unrelated things, I came across to a site: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Castle_of_the_Winds

"He actually sent me the source code when I asked for it, but I never got around to asking if it was okay to share. I suspect it is, but I don't think I have it any longer. I'm not sure what to do. I could contact the person on his talk page. But, why did Rick Saada didn't release it to the public domain? Could anybody contact him?

Well I heard that someone on CoTw Online has the source code

Time to mail Rick again. Last time he gave me all sorts of info about algos, but not the actual source...

He didn't want to give out the actual source cause he said it's a mess and he's embarassed by it :D

Everyone,

I just emailed Rick Saada requesting the Source Code in order to do a CotW fan game/remake. I shall keep you posted on whether or not I am granted the source code.
